Superpedestrian, Transit App Partner to Advance Access to LINK E-Scooters

This will make it easier for riders to plan trips including their first and last mile to public transit.

Public transit and e-scooter riders can now find Superpedestrian’s Link shared scooters in the Transit app, according to the company’s press release. This will make it easier for riders to plan trips including their first and last mile to public transit.

Link by Superpedestrian scooters debuted in Los Angeles, California on Aug. 26. L.A. became the 21st city where Link scooters are integrated in the Transit app.

“Shared micromobility is becoming an increasingly integral part of urban transportation systems, especially as a first and last mile solution for public transit users,” said Jamie Perkins, director of communications at Superpedestrian. “It’s important to us that scooters are a solution that complements transit, and collaborating with Transit is an obvious necessity to ensure riders can choose their best route. Transit has been a wonderful partner to work with over the last year, and we look forward to continuing our work to connect communities sustainably, efficiently, and affordably.”

Transit is the official app of LA Metro. With the app, riders can plan their multimodal trip with real-time bus and rail information.
