Enplug and Syncromatics are modernizing mass transit systems with innovative digital signage technology, which will be showcased at Enplug’s Booth at the Digital Signage Expo from March 27 to 29 in Las Vegas.

Transit authorities around the country are installing digital displays on buses and in bus shelters to provide real-time information to passengers. These displays show live information from different sources with bus arrival times, service alerts, and more to provide a crucial communication channel for improving the transit user experience.

Recently, Anaheim Resort Transportation in Southern California implemented a new digital signage system. Multimedia infotainment screens on 80 buses provide real-time information and advertising to guests visiting Disneyland and other area attractions. The content changes automatically based on where each bus is along its route through an integration with Syncromatics’ cloud based dispatching software.

Syncromatics uses Enplug’s cloud-based digital signage software platform to deploy real-time content across its network of displays. Enplug DisplayOS supports real-time content triggering based on geolocation, time, social media interactions, or any other event. Enplug’s industry-leading open SDK enables third-party developers like Syncromatics build apps on its platform, making it an optimal choice for custom projects.

According to Syncromatics CEO, Ian Sephton, “Partnering with Enplug has given us the technology platform we need to bring our solutions to the market in less time and with more scalability than we could build on our own.”
