“As organizations expand their use of Vidcie InSight to include riders, corporate employees and student populations, texting will be the key component in multi-modal reporting,” said Romulus Pereira, CEO of Vidcie. “While security teams will continue to rely heavily on real-time video, the public at large is most comfortable with text as their primary communication method, and the success of any reporting tool comes down to the ease of use for the person sending the report.”

In addition to live text, Vidcie InSight is now optimized for live multi-media situational awareness, providing improved real-time display of all incoming information feeds. In addition to optimizing the organization of all incoming information, Vidcie Central now features a scrolling, time sequenced, real-time report feed that displays all incoming texts and video streams. This feed delivers a composite view of all incoming information and enables dispatch operators to immediately and accurately assess a developing incident or event. With this powerful approach, Vidcie Central operators are able to passively monitor data as it comes in while still being able to focus on individual data points, reports from a specific person or information from a selected GeoFenced area.
