AVTA received its 20th electric MCI coach for their commuter routes. The addition of these buses to AVTA’s fleet of BYD zero-emission buses, enables the agency to place into service a 100% zero-emission transit fleet.

Since August, AVTA has been receiving and placing into service their zero-emissions, high-capacity commuter coaches from MCI. Over the next few weeks, AVTA will receive the 20 electric commuter coaches necessary to retire the remaining diesel commuter fleet.
