Impressive array of educational sessions will be complemented by a bus exhibition that features more than 70 vehicles. This year's event is scheduled Nov. 10 to 12 in Orlando.

Top-Notch Educational Program, Bus Showcase Slated at BusCon

Buyers and operators of small, medium-duty and full-size buses will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge base and view the latest equipment offerings at the 8th annual BusCon, scheduled Nov. 10 to 12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The event is sponsored by Torrance, Calif.-based Bobit Publishing, which publishes METRO, Limousine and Chauffeured Transportation and Auto Rental News. BusCon is the nation's only annual trade show that showcases every shape and size of bus under one roof at one time. Last year, more than 70 vehicles were on display and nearly 2,000 people attended the conference. World-class bus expo BusCon's vast exhibit space at the Orange County Convention Center will give attendees their best opportunity of the year to see a world-class array of vehicles, products and services. Last year, dozens of new vehicles and products were launched at BusCon, and this year exhibitors are once again looking forward to introducing their latest innovations to the industry. Transportation professionals will find a visit to BusCon to be an essential step in the process of selecting new products and services. The editors of METRO, the nation's leading publication serving the public transportation market, have put together an expanded program of educational seminars. Over the course of three days, a broad range of topics will be covered in panel discussions and workshops. Strong learning experience In addition to an opening presentation by Halsey King on the future of bus technology, several panel discussions have been scheduled on topics such as insurance market solutions, equipment trends and a keynote panel discussion, "Customer Service, Marketing and Public Relations: What Public and Private Operators Can Learn From Each Other." Other seminar topics include TEA 21, bus accidents, driver training and vehicle procurement. Many of this industry's top experts will be on hand to share their insight and knowledge on the critical issues transportation professionals are facing today. BusCon 2002 will also provide attendees with a great opportunity to enjoy the world-class attractions of Orlando.
