The American Bus Association (ABA) has launched an online driver-safety training service for its members. The ABA has signed an exclusive partnership with Training Alternatives Group, developers of Internet-based safety and security training programs, for discounts on these training resources for motorcoach companies and their drivers. First in a series of ongoing, online modules, this new educational tool will allow drivers and maintenance personnel to take the classes at their own pace, eliminating costly training classes and company turnover. Online training courses available to ABA members include: -Safety training for new drivers -Backing basics -Driver medical qualifications -Intersection safety -Passing and lane changing ABA members will receive a 15% discount on all online modules.
