METRO Publisher James Blue honored this year's Motorcoach Operator of the Year award winner, Baron's Bus, which was represented by Patrick Goebel, during a ceremony at UMA Expo 2019.
Cleveland’s Baron’s Bus received METRO Magazine’s Motorcoach Operator of the Year award at UMA Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Patrick Goebel was on hand to accept the award during a ceremony held during Expo.
Founded in 2012, Baron’s Bus blends Thomas Goebel’s 30-years of experience as CEO of his family’s bus business, which was sold several years ago to a much larger enterprise, with his son John’s millennial foresight to form a partnership that focuses on exceptional customer service, while offering a newer fleet of motorcoaches.
Baron’s was also one of the first in the industry to adopt electronic logging capabilities on all of its coaches and is ordering all of its future vehicles with collision avoidance systems. Its mission is focused on safety and customer experience, with the operation rating in the top 1% in the country for passage rate of driver and vehicle inspections. A proactive preventive maintenance plan and comprehensive driver training program ensure that safety record.
