“Steve is highly experienced in the technical arenas of both the private and public sectors,” said Winzer.  “His talent and skills will be used to set a new industry benchmark in technical support.”

Dan Besserer, director, Customer Solutions and Technical Services, continues to lead MCI Technical Solutions Managers, who support MCI and Setra coaches in the field, and takes on the responsibility of key customer accounts and for bolstering MCI’s field representation.

“This move brings greater cohesiveness to our organizational structure,” said Winzer. “Operators of MCI and Setra coaches will be assured of technical expertise in the field so they can enjoy the kind of uptime they expect from the industry leader.”

“Being ‘Reliability Driven’ means offering the most reliable products and the best aftermarket support,” said Rick Heller, MCI President and CEO. “We are keenly focused on solving customers issues quickly and continuing to provide industry leading parts availability and support.”

Already, MCI has improved its 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance, managed in-house at its Louisville, Ky., facility, with after-hours access to MCI technical experts to assist drivers in need. MCI is also adding training opportunities in 2015, debuting its new Learning Management System (LMS), a comprehensive, web-based training system with customized curriculums for technicians to learn online, anytime.
