BERU f1 creates tire monitor system for Nova Bus
To be used on new LFS Artic bus.
BERU f1 systems developed a bus Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for Canadian-based Nova Bus and their new Nova LFS Artic bus, to solve performance and durability issues for bus operators driving in severe weather conditions.
Nova buses, driven across Canada year-round, can encounter profoundly cold temperatures, heavy snowfalls and salted roads. BERU f1 systems’ solution, tested in all environments on rally cars, has achieved the required durability standards.
The TPMS that will be used on the LFS Artic bus has four DGA+ antennae mounted on the vehicle, eight wheel sensors and the new BERU f1 systems’ 24-volt TPMS Bus ECU. The TPMS solution also provides retrofitting either standalone or through a CAN network.
