Shuttle Bus Leasing Lands Utah Contract

Shuttle Bus Leasing (SBL), in collaboration with its affiliate Complete Coach Works (CCW), was awarded a contract for the lease of seven buses to The Driver Provider, a premier transportation service company. The buses will be used to meet the demands of the upcoming busy ski season in Utah.

Earlier this year, The Driver Provider placed an order for four 40-foot New Flyer buses from Shuttle Bus Leasing for their Phoenix-based client.

The Driver Provider, known for offering premium shuttle services across the U.S., has experienced significant growth over the past year. With Shuttle Bus Leasing’s broad selection of pre-owned buses, ranging from transit and shuttle buses to motorcoaches, The Driver Provider can effectively scale its fleet to support its expanding operations.

ChargePoint Unveils Low-Cost Charging Solution for Fleets

ChargePoint announced the availability of a low-cost charging solution to enable more fleets to go electric.

Priced at $699, the Level 2 charger lowers the barrier to entry for fleet electrification, while still enabling access to one of the world’s most advanced fleet and telematics software platforms.

Flexible and affordable, ChargePoint’s CPF50 enables those who are considering electric vehicles for their fleet to affordably procure and install charging while maximizing the benefits of going electric.

Multiple CPF50s can be managed from the platform, enabling power sharing via the cloud to reduce charging costs and optimize battery health, and can be configured with either J1772 or NACS connectors to meet any fleet’s needs, regardless of vehicle or connector type.

PhoenixEV to Deliver 4 All-Electric Transit Buses to UC San Diego

PhoenixEV announced its work on four all-electric transit buses for the University of California San Diego, to be delivered in early 2025.

The 35-foot electric buses from PhoenixEV will be deployed to decarbonize the last-mile transportation, reducing particulate emissions on campus and in the neighborhoods around the university.

The new buses, which will bring the university fleet to 20% electric, will also support campus sustainability goals. UC San Diego has committed to decarbonization by 2045.
