Digital Recorders Inc. approved two proposals put forth to vote at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which was held Wednesday in Durham, N.C. Results of the shareholders vote favor to: Elect four nominees to serve on the company's board of directors for a term of three years or until their successors are elected and qualified. Shareholders also voted to ratify the appointment of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP of Raleigh, N.C., as the company's independent certified public accountants. Newly re-elected board members whose terms will expire in 2005 include: Stephanie L. Pinson presently serves as president of Gilbert Tweed Associates Inc. Joseph Tang founder of Lite Vision Corp. Ltd. has served as chairman and CEO since 1990. Lawrence A. Taylor the company's secretary, chief financial officer and vice president since May 1998. Juliann Tenny has served as a director of the company since April 1991.
