Digital Recorders unit wins destination sign orders
The seven orders, totaling more than $1.13 million, will benefit public transit fleets in six states.
The TwinVision na Inc. business unit of Digital Recorders Inc. received seven destination sign system orders for new vehicles totaling more than $1.13 million. Alabama-based North American Bus Industries Inc. ordered TwinVision(R) amber all-LED electronic destination sign systems for 124 new buses in the Boston public transit fleet. Delivery is scheduled to conclude in October 2003. Orion Bus Industries, a brand of DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses in North America, ordered more than $190,000 in destination sign systems for the public transit fleet in Montgomery County, Md. Other orders were placed by Motor Coach Industries, Supreme StarTrans, Eldorado National and Gillig Corporation.
