The EV Star is an all–electric, zero emission, 25-foot bus that seats up to 19 passengers, with an operational range of 100 to 150 miles on a single charge.

The EV Star is an all–electric, zero emission, 25-foot bus that seats up to 19 passengers, with an operational range of 100 to 150 miles on a single charge. GreenPower Motor Co. Inc.

GreenPower Motor Company Inc. received an order for two EV Star All-Electric Min–eBuses from San Diego Airport Parking Co. (SDAPC), which will be purchased utilizing the California HVIP voucher program along with a 50-month lease-financing program.

SDAPC provides parking for travelers using the San Diego International Airport, which serves about 50,000 passengers every day and more than 20 million passengers annually. SDAPC provides a free shuttle service for its customers to and from the airport and is committed to green initiatives in its operations.

“We are excited to enter into a long-term partnership with SDAPC as they continue to enhance their sustainability initiatives,” said Ryne Shetterly, VP, sales and marketing. “With a $90,000 voucher from the state of California and a lease-financing program available, the EV Star offers operators a world class zero-emission shuttle vehicle at a very affordable all-in cost.”

The EV Star is an all–electric, zero-emission, 25-foot bus that seats up to 19 passengers, with an operational range of 100 to 150 miles on a single charge. The vehicle can be used for microtransit services, paratransit, vanpool, shuttle, school, employee transportation, tourist operations, or cargo transport.
