At IMG’s recent Maintenance and Safety Forum, in Louisville, Ky., over 250 IMG Shareholders, their staff and industry partners gathered for a spectacular awards dinner at Slugger Field, with two very important awards presented.
The IMG Safety Award is awarded to the company that has demonstrated the highest level of safety throughout the organization. The award winner not only meets the highest level of federal, state and local regulations but goes above and beyond in implementing company safety measures that insure both their employee and customers experience the safest work and transportation conditions possible.
A committee of past winners awarded Anderson Coach & Travel, of Greenville, Pa., the IMG Safety Award.

The IMG Spirit Award is given to the IMG Operator who displays the “spirit” of IMG philosophies, best practices and operations from a maintenance and safety standpoint and who demonstrates a leadership role that benefits fellow members and the IMG Organization. Past winners of this award elected Southeastern Stages, based in Atlanta, as the IMG Spirit award recipient.
In accepting the award Mike Dickson, president, Southeastern Stages said: ““We value our participation in IMG and being able to co-mingle with IMG operators is what makes IMG so great, I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of our entire team.”
IMG’s Maintenance and Safety Forum is an annual meeting of IMG Shareholders, Staff and Partner companies. In Louisville, the meeting was run concurrently with the Bus Industry safety Council and featured government guests from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation.
