MV Transportation Inc. announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide paratransit services for the Access Services (Access) Northern Region based in Van Nuys, Calif. beginning August 1, 2018.

Under terms of the five-year contract, MV agreed to provide safe and reliable curb-to-curb ADA-compliant paratransit transportation for the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles County. The company will be responsible for operations, maintenance, dispatch, reservations, and customer service with a fleet that includes mini-buses, vans, and sedans. MV will also implement several service and passenger enhancements including text and voice notification.

With this latest agreement, MV extends its partnership with Access into its second decade after beginning initial services in 2002. In the last 12 months MV has provided over 806,000 trips for Access passengers.

MV is the largest privately-owned passenger transportation services firm in North America and provider of specialized on-demand ADA-compliant transportation of persons with disabilities and the elderly.
