Laidlaw Transit International Inc. named Michael R. Rushin president and CEO of its Laidlaw Transit Services division. The Overland Park, Kan.-based company provides paratransit and fixed-route bus services for more than 125 transit projects in 26 states. Rushin, who has worked for 14 years at Laidlaw's Education Services division, will report directly to Kevin E. Benson, president and CEO of Laidlaw International Inc. Prior to joining Laidlaw, Rushin worked for Emery Air Freight.
