TTA manager resigns
Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) GM, John Claflin, has announced his resignation from the agency effective Sept. 30, 2006. Claflin’s departure from TTA comes two weeks after it admitted that it would be unable to secure $485 million in federal subsidies for a commuter-rail corridor between Raleigh and Durham, N.C.
