Mobility Ventures LLC, designer and manufacturer of the MV-1 — the only American-made vehicle specifically engineered from the ground up in support of wheelchair users and people with other disabilities — announced the expansion of its Government & Commercial Fleet Sales Division with the hiring of automotive fleet management veteran Bill Gibson to serve as VP, Government & Commercial Fleet Sales. Gibson will report to Mobility Ventures Executive VP Pat Kemp.

Most recently, Gibson was VP, fleet sales, for VNG.CO, a compressed natural gas infrastructure developer. Prior to that, Gibson was the VP, sales and marketing, for SCT Performance, which targets specialty products to vehicle fleet operators.
The majority of Gibson’s fleet & commercial operations expertise was gained during his 38-year tenure at General Motors, which included 21 years in the Fleet & Commercial Operations channel.
Gibson is also a strong supporter of the fleet management profession and was an involved member of various fleet industry organizations that included American Fleet & Leasing Association, where he was a past board member, NAFA and American Automotive Leasing Association.
