NEORide and Masabi launch fully integrated mobile ticketing app in Ohio
Transit riders will be able to use the free app to pay fares or purchase tickets with any of the participating transit systems for seamless travel.

NEORide, a consortium of seven Ohio transit agencies, in partnership with Masabi, announced that for the first time passengers across the region will be able to enjoy the freedom and flexibility to plan a trip, get real-time information, and purchase a ticket all within a single app.
Riders can now experience seamless travel through a fully integrated free EZfare app.
Laketran, Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority, and Portage Area Regional Transit Authority riders can use EZfare today.
NEORide’s four other partner agencies, the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority, Metro RTA, Medina County Public Transit, and the Western Reserve Transit Authority will bring the system online by October 2019.
NEORide officials plan to add additional transit agencies to deploy EZfare later this year.
EZfare tickets will also be available to purchase from within Transit, the leading real-time journey planning app. Transit is integrating the EZfare platform via Masabi’s Justride SDK, enabling transit ticketing from within Transit’s existing application.
