[IMAGE]MET8Biz-Prevost.jpg[/IMAGE]Village Tours and Travel of Wichita, Kansas, recently added a 2009 Prevost H3-45 to its fleet.

Jeff Arensdorf, co-owner and Vice President, explained that the H3-45 was an obvious choice given that the company already owns 17 of the model known as the "ultimate touring coach."

Along with fire suppression, tire pressure monitoring, and electronic stability program (ESP) systems, Village Tours's new H3-45 is equipped with Prevost Liason an advanced fleet management option involving Web-based telematics technology that is proprietary to Prevost.

Using a network of 30 low-orbiting satellites — a distinct advantage over cellular or geostationary satellite technology — the company can remain in contact with its Liaison-equipped coaches regardless of their locations in North America.

Village Tours, which was established in 1980, is headed by Jeff Arensdorf and his father, Norman, and today has 74 employees. Its 25 motorcoaches travel to every state in the continental U.S. — plus Alaska — and all Canadian provinces.
