SLEC recently completed its biggest contract to date with the supply of 20 x 44,000 lb. capacity columns for a major East Coast transit company. While the company has supplied rail jacks in the past, this was by far its biggest contract. The columns were lined up and ready for final testing in February, then went through operator training before being put into action.
SLEC Inc. was formed in 2015 as it ceased to be a distributor for a European manufacturer and started manufacturing its own brand of lifts in Baltimore. All SLEC columns are synchronized to within three-eighth inches and are backed up by SLEC service technicians strategically placed throughout the U.S.
