Stantec recently added three key managers to its transportation team in the Southwest. Krishna Anantuni and Rob Lemke are joining the firm’s Phoenix, Arizona, office, while M’balia Tagoe-Guzman joins the Las Vegas, Nevada, office. The three bring more than 80 years of project experience to Stantec’s transportation group, which numbers nearly 150 in the region.

Anantuni is well-known in the Phoenix Metro area and has more than 28 years of experience managing transportation projects and design services for the Arizona Department of Transportation and other municipal agencies in the state. He is a transportation sector leader and a Stantec principal.

Anantuni has extensive knowledge of federal, state, and city design standards, guidelines, rules, and regulations, which he acquired while working on some of the largest transportation projects in the state. He has provided project management and traffic engineering expertise for the design of multiple projects ranging from freeway construction to intersection improvements. As sector leader, Anantuni is charged with growing the firm’s transportation presence in Arizona. He is managing Stantec’s efforts for light rail and highway design projects in the Southwest.

Lemke is Stantec principal, a business developer, and senior project manager for major transportation infrastructure projects in Arizona and throughout the US. He joins Stantec with 32 years of experience, most recently serving as an executive vice president in charge of the design and management of transportation-related projects for an Arizona-based engineering firm.

Rob Lemke is Stantec principal, a business developer, and senior project manager.

A design-build expert, Lemke has an excellent understanding of all facets of engineering projects, from planning and environmental studies, to preliminary design, including corridor studies, and design concept reports. He is an active member of American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the International Registry of Professional Engineers.

Tagoe-Guzman is a senior project manager with extensive experience in the management of complex projects across all phases of project delivery, both in the role of the PM/CM consultant and as the design-build contractor. She joins Stantec with 27 years of experience at an international engineering and construction firm based in San Francisco, where she worked on large-scale transportation and environmental projects.

M’balia Tagoe-Guzman is a senior project manager with extensive experience in the management of complex projects.

Tagoe-Guzman worked on environmental projects early in her career, including management roles on large cleanup programs for the Department of Defense and Department of Energy. For the past 17 years, her focus has been managing transportation infrastructure projects, primarily in the airport and rail sectors, both in the U.S. and overseas, including the McCarran Terminal 3, Dulles Metrorail Phase I, and BART Silicon Valley Phase I programs.
