CharterUP announced its official launch in New York City, with a virtual fleet of more than 220 buses in partnership with over 30 locally-based charter operators.

This expansion will streamline group transportation for users while driving job creation and boosting business for local operators across the city, according to CharterUP's news release.

The company’s on-demand booking platform provides companies, government organizations, schools, sports teams, and private groups with a solution for contracting and managing one-time or recurring bus services for events, group travel, and employee commutes.

CharterUP also provides real-time availability, operator reviews, on-time performance, safety records, vehicle tracking, and instant booking.

CharterUP’s tech-enabled white label mobile app will allow New York City-based companies the ability to monitor in-depth ridership data, live trip tracking, and more, while employees can check available shuttle times, and pickup locations, request rides, and track shuttles in real-time from their personal mobile device.

"CharterUP's launch in New York City marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide reliable, efficient, and cost-effective transportation solutions to businesses and organizations, already well-received by customers like FedEx and WorldStrides,” said Armir Harris, founder/CEO of CharterUP. “With our tech-enabled platform, we are not only streamlining group transportation for users but also driving job creation and boosting business for local operators across the city. We are excited to bring our data-driven approach to New York City and help operators expand their fleets to meet demand."
