STV names new industrial engineer and project manager

STV hired William Smith, PE, as a senior industrial engineer and project manager for its Transportation and Infrastructure Vehicle Maintenance Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Smith produced designs for various urban and regional transit facilities, and freight railroad shops and yards. Before that, he worked in advanced manufacturing, integrating process flows with automated monitoring and control systems.

In his new role at STV, Smith is responsible for developing efficient workspaces for transit industry maintenance facilities. He is based in the firm’s Baltimore office and reports to VP Donald S. Harris.
