Transdev receives Foothill Transit contract renewal

Transdev will continue working to optimize the passenger experience for millions of Calif. Foothill Transit passengers with a four-year contract renewal with four additional option years. The contract was approved this spring by the agency’s board of directors.
Transdev provides service operations and vehicle maintenance for approximately 50% of the Foothill Transit system, which operates 40 fixed, express, and rapid transit routes that move passengers within the San Gabriel and Pomona valleys, as well as express service to Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles.

Recently, Transdev introduced a new bus operations center that enables more active management of drivers. The company has continued to find new innovations in enhancing the customer experience through improved customer feedback management, additional social media engagement and new dispatching tools.
