Veolia Transportation will continue to operate service for the Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) for another five years.
The City of Greensboro city council voted 9-0 in favor of the renewal at their monthly meeting on April 21, 2009.
The agreement, which takes effect July 1, 2009, has a three-year base with two one-year options. The fleet of 120 vehicles provides service for fixed route, paratransit, flex services and college shuttles.
