DDOT adding 26 more New Flyer clean-diesel vehicles
The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) awarded New Flyer a new order for 26 40-foot, clean-diesel Xcelsior® heavy-duty transit buses. This is the third order from a five-year contract for 200 buses signed by DDOT in 2017, leaving options to purchase a total of 114 buses over the remaining three years.
The new order of fully accessible buses supports the DDOT strategic transportation plan, which includes rebranding, revitalizing, and increasing bus service to provide a better, more reliable transportation network for a revitalized Detroit.
Louisiana Motor Coach adds 10 MCI J4500s
New Orleans’ Louisiana Motor Coach took delivery of 10 new MCI J4500 coaches. The new J4500s feature best-in-class interiors and legroom, proven reliability, fuel-saving features and low total cost of operation with the latest safety features.
Louisiana Motor Coach is distinguished by its newer fleet, commitment to service, and unique excursions. In addition to traditional charter services, Louisiana Motor Coach helps travelers with customized tours of New Orleans, fishing adventures and scheduled coach travel to away games for the city’s professional sports teams.

June LA Metro Ridership Surges 2 Million Year Over Year
