The American Seating Co. has launched a redesigned and enhanced Website, after several months of research about key audiences’ needs for content, navigability and usage.

The site features a new appearance, format and architecture, augmenting the company’s ability to provide solutions and work with customers on installation strategies and services.

One feature on the Website for transportation providers is the interior configurator, a tool that lets users specify colors and fabrics for the InSight city bus product line at http://configurator.americanseating.com/insight.html.

In addition to being able to search by solution, the navigation includes the ability to search by specific product category and offers installation images, transportation animations, customer case studies, sustainability product data and the company’s environmental statement.

The site will soon feature sections on News & Events; an Installation Database; an enhanced Sales Locator; Parts and Service; and Tools and Resources. In the coming months, the site will be augmented with an online order status function, parts catalogs and a section on American Seating’s ongoing sustainability initiatives.
