Apollo Video introduces new DVR series
The RoadRunner MRH series provides months of on-board storage, years of maintenance-free operation, and allows for system-wide remote updates.
Apollo Video Technology introduced a new series of digital video recorders (DVR) for use in all types of mass transit and rail vehicles. Equipped with enough capacity and new features to make it the highest performance system available on the market today, the RoadRunner MRH Series DVR records up to 16 cameras simultaneously with industry-leading recording rates, higher resolutions, and compression ideal for networking and remote access.
Utilizing the same platform, architecture and software as the RoadRunner MR series DVR, the RoadRunner MRH series provides months of on-board storage, years of maintenance-free operation, and allows for system-wide remote updates.
The RoadRunner MRH DVR utilizes H.264 compression providing recording resolutions up to 4CIF while maintaining months of on-board storage. Recording up to 480 images per second the MRH series is available in a format for recording up to eight, twelve or sixteen cameras.The RoadRunner MRH DVR has been in use for nearly six months in several transit agencies, according to company officials.
Other RoadRunner MRH DVR features include:
Video watermarking and encryption with optional password protection.
GPS option provides a map display of historical route location data and graphs of vehicle speed.
License-free Remote Administration Software (RASPlus) and HDPlayer Software included at no additional charge.
Fleet-wide software compatibility for all vehicle system types with a range of recording options from one to sixteen cameras.
