This year's APTA Bus Technical, Maintenance and Procurement Workshop is scheduled Oct. 28 to 31 in New Orleans.
This workshop brings together transit professionals interested in bus maintenance, maintenance training, bus engineering, transit procurement and materials management to discuss and share information on the latest developments in these areas.
Halsey King, president of Halsey King & Associates, will be one of the featured speakers. He will conduct sessions on two topics: How to train bus technicians to become managers of regulated fleets and program development for employees who will be doing inspections at the bus plant.
