Metro employs over 560 regular staff and manages a fleet of approximately 100 light- and medium-duty trucks, passenger cars, equipment and vans.

Metro sought a comprehensive fleet maintenance management solution that would automate the tracking, periodic maintenance/warranty maintenance, checkout of pool vehicles, budget expense tracking by vehicle and by user group, allotment of replacement costs for vehicles and equipment depreciation for their fleet.

Specifically they were looking for an easy-to-use and cost effective system that included these features:

• Motor pool management with online reservations.
• KPI’s and robust out-of-the box reports with the ability to customize when needed.
• Work order functionality including auto-notification features.
• Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Emissions testing and requirements tracking.
• Warranty tracking.
• Integration with Metro’s existing fuel system.

Based on AssetWorks’ ability to meet these objectives and proven track record serving city and county fleets, Metro selected FleetFocus fleet management software and services solution.
