BusCon offers the largest quantity and widest variety of vehicle and products on the show floor, giving attendees the chance to see scores of vehicles.

BusCon offers the largest quantity and widest variety of vehicle and products on the show floor, giving attendees the chance to see scores of vehicles.

Upgrade your fleet with advanced transportation technology and education by registering for BusCon 2019, held at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis Sept. 23 to 25 — with the Early Bird discount ending August 22.

BusCon offers the largest quantity and widest variety of vehicle and products on the show floor, giving attendees the chance to see scores of vehicles, from shuttles to motorcoaches, and from public transit buses to vans, including electric and propane vehicles.

The show floor will be open Tuesday, Sept. 24 from Noon to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with attendees able to use BusCon’s mobile app, which is available via iTunes or Google Play, to get around the show.

In addition to some of BusCon’s typical offerings, including the Transit Maintenance Forum and an educational program focusing on all of the latest trends, this year’s show features:

  • Expanded BusCon Connect operator/supplier meeting program;

  • Indiana Transportation Association’s Annual Meeting;

  • Meeting for Midwest operators hosted by the Illinois Limo & Bus Manufacturers Assoc.;

  • Special talk on Rural and Tribal Networks from National RTAP;

  • and limited capacity training course from the National Transit Institute — Transit Asset Management Implementation for Tier II Providers & Sponsors.

Also recently announced is the Keynote Address, “The Changing Face of Mobility,” which will be delivered by Head of Global Policy for Public Transportation at Uber Chris Pangilinan, who will take a look at how forging partnerships is helping to improve mobility in regions across the nation, as well as bringing new types of transportation providers to the table. It will also include an operator perspective from Iowa DART’s Luis Montoya, who will provide a microcosm of how regions are adjusting to this new model.
