BYD Canada announced that St. Albert Transit (STAT) received its second order of four K9 35-foot electric buses. STAT ordered a total of seven buses, the first three of which were delivered in May of 2017. With the delivery of four more buses, 10% of STAT’s fleet is fully-electric, making them the largest operator of zero-emission battery-electric buses in Canada.

The conversion to zero-emissions buses will assist the City of St. Albert in reaching the goals outlined in their Environmental Master Plan.
