CalACT vehicle workshop to be held in San Diego
Program held Oct. 17 - 18, to cover inspections, maintenance and repair.
San Diego will host a vehicle inspection, maintenance and repair workshop, sponsored by the California Association for Coordinated Transportation (CalACT).
Registration is free for the workshop, which is geared toward bus maintenance technicians, fleet managers and others interested in bus maintenance technology. Industry professionals will provide objective training information about Caltrans’ vehicles, systems, components and accessories. In addition, speakers will discuss information about bus inspections, brakes, engines, transmissions, small bus air conditioning, suspension, electrical and components testing.
The program, supported by Caltrans and the Rural Transportation Assistance Program, is ideal for organizations new to running transportation, including 5310 and 5311 operators.
