Carmanah Technologies Inc. received a contract to supply its proprietary i-Stop solar-powered bus lighting systems to Chicago's PACE Suburban Bus. The contract, with installation scheduled over the next five years, is valued at up to $855,000. The first $194,000 in i-Stop systems will be delivered before the end of August. The order follows a successful field trial where PACE installed 19 units 18 months ago and surveyed passengers for feedback.
