Creative Bus Sales acquires Fla.’s Transit Plus
The company is a major provider of paratransit buses as well as transit agencies and private operators throughout Florida. Transit Plus is a family owned company with a long history of sales and service in the transit and shuttle markets.
Creative Bus Sales, a Chino, Calif.-based commercial bus dealership, acquired Atlantic Beach, Fla.-based Transit Plus. Under the terms of the agreement, Creative Bus has purchased a substantial portion of Transit Plus Inc.’s assets. The company will continue to operate under the name Transit Plus from their current location.
“Ted and Debra Jackrel have dedicated their lives to this industry and have built a fine company that we are now proud to welcome into the Creative family of companies,” President Tony Matijevich said. “I believe the Transit Plus operation will benefit tremendously from the resources and systems that will be provided by Creative Bus Sales.”
When asked about the acquisition, Matijevich commented, “It is our intention to grow the operation within the state and expand the services offered by Transit Plus.”
