Earth Tech named consultant for LIRR
Company will perform consulting and other services for long-term capital program.
Earth Tech Inc., a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has been selected as an on-call consultant for construction management and other services for Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) construction projects.
The LIRR construction projects are part of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) $16 billion, 2005-2009 Capital Construction Program.
Earth Tech has been pre-approved by the MTA to compete for construction phase services, project controls and project administration on an array of projects for a five-year period.
Under a previous contract, Earth Tech is also performing construction management services on the LIRR's $80 million Arch Street Shop and Yard project.
