As the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) opens the door to $1.5 billion in competitive grant funding through its FY2025 Low or No Emission Vehicle Program (Low-No) and Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program, ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) declared its readiness to assist agencies nationwide in securing and deploying fleet modernization projects under this historic investment.

ENC, a U.S.-based heavy-duty transit bus manufacturer and subsidiary of Rivaz Inc., is positioning its AXESS platform as a key solution for transit agencies looking to make meaningful progress under the grant programs.

The AXESS platform, engineered and assembled in Riverside, Calif., has logged over 500 million miles of revenue service and remains one of the most field-proven bus models in the U.S. transit landscape. 

Available in 30-, 32-, 35-, and 40-foot lengths, AXESS buses are designed for versatile operation in urban, regional, and rural environments.

Key features include:

  • Support for battery-electric, hybrid-electric, CNG, and clean diesel powertrains.

  • 304-grade stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and durability.

  • Fully ADA-compliant with multiple floor plans and mobility features.

  • Altoona-tested for federal performance compliance.

In a press release, ENC officials said it offers a ready-to-deploy product line and an experienced support team to help with grant applications and procurement.

With production ramping up at its Riverside facility, the company said it is actively accepting new orders across its complete AXESS portfolio.
