After launching over 75 destinations across the Western and Southern U.S., FlixBus, Europe’s largest long-distance bus company, is bringing its tech meets travel concept to El Paso, Texas; Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Willcox, Arizona.

Travelers from these regions will now have a low-cost, high-tech travel option connecting them to cities throughout the southwest.

“After the success of our initial launch, it’s clear to us that we’ve tapped into a real desire for an alternative mode of transportation in the south,” said Pierre Gourdain, managing director of FlixBus USA. “Our goal now is to continue connecting more communities and get as many cars as we can off the road.”

The El Paso route will connect Texas to Arizona with daily direct trips on the roundtrip route El Paso - Las Cruces - Willcox - Tucson - Tempe - Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. With a stopover, passengers can also connect on to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and more destinations in the southwest.

Within the FlixBus business model, El Paso-based Intermex Transportation will manage the daily operation of the buses running to and from the region while FlixBus manages the technology development, network planning, yield management, operations control, and marketing. FlixBus partners with over 300 local SME bus partners globally and has created over 7,000 jobs for local bus drivers.
