Greyhound lowers Midwest fares

Changes are part of company’s new marketing campaign.

As part of its new customer service program, Greyhound Lines Inc. has decreased fares to select Midwestern cities. The “Elevate Everything” program, which is featured at more than 50 Greyhound stations nationwide, includes newly refurbished and clean buses, terminal upgrades, new employee uniforms, enhanced customer service and a new greeter position to help customers with questions. “In a time of increasingly expensive travel costs, we are continuing our tradition of low-cost, convenient transportation,” said Steve Gorman, Greyhound’s president and chief executive officer. Gorman added that the program’s improvements are expected to be available across the entire system by Thanksgiving.
