ICOM North America LLC launched its new ICOM Technology and Training Center, dedicated to development, integration, upfitting, and training for its bi-fuel and mono-fuel liquid propane autogas injection systems.

The training center officially opened in late September with a special event at the new facility, which increases Icom North America’s building footprint by 50%. Icom North America manufactures a full range of patented Icom liquid propane autogas injection systems.

“The launch of our new Icom Technology and Training Center is a new chapter in the history of Icom North America, and the next logical step to make it easier for fleets to transition to clean-burning, domestic propane autogas,” said ICOM North America chairman Albert Venezio. “The center enhances our ability to showcase for fleet owners and propane fuel suppliers liquid propane autogas injection systems and the benefits propane autogas offers as an alternative fuel.”

At the opening event, 35 industry members learned more about Icom North America’s liquid propane autogas injection systems, and how to market both them and propane autogas as the premier alternative fuel for fleet vehicles. Icom North America fleet customers explained why propane autogas was the ideal solution for their needs, and attendees were given access to the company’s liquid propane autogas injection systems and components, along with a ride-and-drive session and even a propane autogas refueling station. They were also able to learn more about the Imega GAME propane autogas sequential injection system, which Icom North America announced in April 2014 it would distribute.
