WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood spoke at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA)’s annual Legislative Conference. He told the audience that the Obama Administration created more than 350 miles of new rail and bus rapid transit systems and executed more than 40 new major capital transit projects in 16 states over the past four years, “we have more work to do.”
