Transdev entered a new, three-year partnership with Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) to manage its paratransit scheduling and dispatching services, along with the ADA paratransit eligibility certification process.

From a scheduling and dispatching perspective, Transdev will be managing 15,000 certified participants, who average 2,400 trips per day during the week and another 1,200 trip per day on the weekends. Transdev will also manage their ADA paratransit eligibility certification process through its Mobility Options business line.

“Our Mobility Options business, just like everything else we do, centers around our commitment to the passenger experience,” said W.C. Pihl, senior VP of business development for Transdev U.S. “By combining our technological expertise with our promise of providing outstanding customer service, delivering accurate and consistent determinations, and achieving an efficient process — we have created a great offering to our ADA passengers and our clients like MARTA.”

Collie Greenwood, MARTA’s Deputy GM, added that the agency looks forward “to the positive and observable difference [Transdev] can bring to our service and to our Mobility passengers.”
