Orlando to set up commuter rail system
ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida has struck a deal with CSX Transportation to set up a commuter rail system in the central part of the state to relieve gridlock in and around the Orlando area. SAN FRANCISCO — Facing criticism over an ad placed on its system late last year, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is considering a tougher policy to curtail the content of advertisements displayed in stations and on trains. The new policy would ban any material “that ridicules or mocks, is abusive or hostile to, or debases the dignity or stature of an individual or group of individuals.” For the full story, click here.
