MV Transportation Inc. acquired Transportation Management Services UK Ltd. (TMSUK), the Major Games Division and wholly owned subsidiary of Transportation Management Services Inc., which designs, plans and operates transportation systems for major special events around the globe.

The company’s current contracts will continue to operate under TMSUK through June 2015 and new contracts will be bid under MV Transportation Inc. Financial details of this deal will not be disclosed.

TMSUK has become a trusted and respected transportation partner for high profile organizations and special events, such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the World Cup and Club World Cup, the Pan Arab Games, the Pan American Games, Asian Cup  and Formula One Events. With upcoming events such as the Summer Games in London and the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, TMSUK will now bring the high standards they’ve established in the industry into the MV portfolio. In addition, the company is currently providing operational support and/or superior planning acumen for events in Scotland; Dubai; Brazil; and Austin, Texas.

“The purchase of TMSUK presents MV with a platform on which we can accelerate the growth of our international business,” said Carter Pate, CEO. “The experience of TMSUK’s management team in special event logistics coupled with MV’s decades of experience with advanced passenger and vehicle location technology will lead to endless opportunities for growth.”

TMSUK President Brad Kurtz along with all TMSUK International Transportation Specialists will transition to MV Transportation. The TMSUK office will remain in the United Kingdom and the office in Abu Dhabi, UAE will become the MV Transportation base for its Middle East operations. MV also holds a transportation management contract with Earadat Transportation in Saudi Arabia.
