National Transit Institute seeks training proposals

Looking to revise four multi-day courses to be offered to new professionals and those who are currently engaged in federally funded procurement. The deadline for completed proposals is March 8.

The National Transit Institute is seeking proposals to revise, as necessary, and deliver the existing four training courses:

•    Orientation to Transit Procurement
•    Basic Cost, Price Analysis and Risk Assessment
•    RFPs and Competitive Contract Negotiations
•    Contract Administration

The four multi-day courses will be offered to new professionals and those who are currently engaged in federally funded procurement, particularly contract administrators, project managers, procurement and contracting personnel wishing to improve their skills, transit suppliers and Federal Transit Administration regional staff who review third-party contracting.

The National Transit Institute will require proposers with experience in the subject matter, as well as experience in revising, updating, and delivering training programs.

Completed proposals must be received in the Procurement Office of Rutgers University no later than 3:00 p.m. (EST), March 8, 2011. Late proposals will not be accepted.
