Cummins Inc.'s newly formed Fleetguard Emission Solutions unit will provide solutions for customers to meet tightening emissions regulations. The technology offered through the unit will enable reciprocating engines to cost-effectively meet or exceed future U.S., EPA and international emissions requirements. The business will research, develop and commercialize systems and products for use in mobile and stationary applications. The Fleetguard unit will also focus on the retrofitting of existing engines with emissions control devices.
