It was announced that President Bush will nominate Jenna Dorn as administrator of the Federal Transit Administration and Allan Rutter as administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration.
It was announced that President Bush will nominate Jenna Dorn as administrator of the Federal Transit Administration and Allan Rutter as administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration. Dorn has a wide range of experience within the federal government and private industry, including a stint as director of strategic planning at Martin Marietta, where DOT Secretary Norman Mineta was previously employed. Dorn also has experience in the public transportation field, having served as a special assistant to then-DOT Secretary Elizabeth Dole and director of the Office of Commercial Space Transportation. Dorn also worked at the American Red Cross as a senior vice president of policy and planning and was president of the National Health Museum Inc. Meanwhile, Rutter served as transportation policy director in the Texas governor's office and deputy director of the TX High-Speed Rail Authority.
