Ontira Communications will install an automated telephone information system for Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) in Tampa, Fla. The interactive voice response system will provide HART's call center with 24-hour ride information in English and Spanish for both public transit and paratransit van services for the elderly and disabled. Busline, Ontira's public transit information system, will allow HARTline passengers access to schedule information including next bus arrival times and access to general fare and travel information. HART's paratransit customers will be able to confirm and cancel their previously scheduled rides by telephone without operator assistance with Ontira's HandyLine system.
