Cubic Names New Chairman of the Board

Cubic Corporation announced Mac Curtis will retire as chairman of the board, with Stevan Slijepcevic, who has served as president and CEO of Cubic since January 2022, being named as his successor. 

Since becoming CEO, Slijepcevic has led Cubic's strategic transformation, strengthening its core businesses and driving efficiency across the organization. 

Under his leadership, Cubic has reinforced its presence in the transportation and defense industries, secured key contracts, and positioned itself for continued growth.

Hoskins Named Director, Operations, at Spring Bird

Spring Bird named Thomas Hoskins as its new director, operations.

With more than two decades of experience in transit operations, fleet management, and manufacturing process improvement, Hoskins will play a critical role in optimizing Spring Bird’s operational strategy and driving continued growth.

Hoskins brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having served eight years as director, operations, at Complete Coach Works, where he led fleet modernization efforts and oversaw large-scale production improvements. 

His career also includes 13 years as an operations manager at Motor Coach Industries, where he gained extensive experience managing complex transit manufacturing and service operations.

Florida’s JTA Names Rogers VP, Chief Infrastructure Officer

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) announced the return of Andrew C. Rodgers in the position of VP, chief infrastructure officer.

During his previous tenure at the JTA, Rodgers led the design and construction of the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center (JRTC), a regional multimodal transportation hub, along with the relocation efforts from four facilities to the newly constructed center. 

Rodgers also led the JTAMobilityWorks Program, which includes 13 roadway projects and improvements on 14 mobility corridors, with program costs of $160 million.

In this new role, Rodgers will oversee the JTA’s capital program including multimillion dollar programs such as the MobilityWorks 2.0 Program funded by the local option gas tax, the Emerald Trail projects, and the infrastructure support for the later phases of the Ultimate Urban Circulator.

San Antonio’s VIA Adds Treviño as Sr. VP

Teri Treviño was named sr. VP, customer care & public engagement, at VIA Metropolitan Transit, where she will oversee all aspects of the agency’s marketing, communications, sales, and customer-experience efforts, including strategies targeting ridership growth.

Prior to joining VIA, Treviño served as the head of retail marketing for DISH Network, where she led the development and execution of marketing strategies across multiple channels that resulted in increased market share, customer retention, and loyalty. 

She also served as director of marketing for T-Mobile, focusing on both generating brand awareness and driving customer-focused results.

Treviño brings more than 15 years of leadership experience to the role, including a proven track record of leading successful multi-channel efforts and creating enhanced brand visibility.
